Welcome to the Building and Construction Industry Training Council's (BCITC) website.

If you want to know about training in the Western Australian building and construction industry, you have come to the right site.

We have just organised some major changes to the website and hope you find your browse interesting and useful.

The BCITC is a state Industry Training Advisory Body (ITAB), made up of members from industry, sub-contractors, employer associations, union groups, professional associations, government agencies and training providers. Through the BCITC all of these groups work together to present Western Australia's view of industry training needs to organisations such as the WA Department of Training, Construction Training Australia, the State Training Board, and the Building and Construction Industry Training Fund (BCITF).

This site has been developed to help workers in the building and construction industry learn more about the new things going on in training and who is providing training, how to get Trade Certificates through skills recognition and get interesting information through the technologies and links sections. The site also helps training providers find out the latest about what industry has endorsed as appropriate training. Everyone interested in industry can also check out the what’s new section to keep up to date with all sorts of industry activities.
